Urgent Medical Care
Emergency Doctors
If you need urgent medical care outside of normal GP surgery hours, the out-of-hours service is available between 6.00pm and 8.00am Monday - Friday and is available 24 hours at weekends and bank holidays.
Your GP's usual telephone number will have an answerphone message detailing how you can contact a GP out of hours, or you can call the out-of-hours service covering where you live.
For people living in the Kennet, North & West Wiltshire ring 0300 111 5717 (excluding patients registered with practices in Purton and Cricklade, who should call 01793 541111) and for people living in South Wiltshire ring 0845 270 3535 (excluding patients registered with practices in Silton, Mere, Hindon, Tisbury and Bechers Brook, who should call 0845 6001013). This service is only for urgent medical problems that cannot wait until the next day to be treated.

If you need to see a dentist urgently outside of normal working hours, a service is available between the hours of 6.30pm and 8am on week days, weekends, bank holidays or public holidays contact the Out of Hours telephone number 0300 1115717. This number is for Out of Hours urgent treatments ONLY. Please do NOT use this number for any routine treatments
