April to September 2010 season launched - book now!

Booking is now open for The Pound's April to September 2010 season which features a diverse range of performances, films, exhibitions and workshops. To book please ring the box office on 01249 701628. Online booking will be available from Monday 10 May.

As well as a terrific series of Saturday night events including performances by renowned comedienne Jo Caulfield, comedy theatre duo Plested & Brown and remarkable string quartet Bowjangles, other exciting strands in the new season include:


Pound Screen -

The Pound's season of great cinema continues, featuring screenings of A Single Man, Nine and Up in the Air

Young Artists Recital Series - a number of outstanding young musicians perform at The Pound including prizewinning guitarist Andrew Booth and pianist Jocelyn Freeman

Workshops - this season's packed programme of participatory events for all the family features a series of easter and summer holiday Workshop Wednesdays as well as our popular ActNoW youth theatre.

You can ring the box office on 01249 701628 (Monday to Friday, 10am to 7pm; Saturday, 10am to 4pm) to book tickets for any of the performances, films and workshops in the new season. Online booking will be available from Monday 10 May.

 

 

 

The Pound

The Pound, the arts hub for north Wiltshire, offers a year round programme of performances, workshops, a youth theatre and exhibitions.

The Pound is run by The Pound Arts Trust Limited, a charity limited by guarantee, which also organises Corsham Festival and manages Rural Arts Wiltshire

The Pound has very limited parking including two disabled spaces. The town centre car parks in Newlands Road and Post Office Lane
are a five to 10 minute, level walk away.

Hire The Pound

If you are looking for a venue for a meeting, conference, rehearsal, workshop or performance, The Pound is the perfect place to hold your event.

Following the £1.2 million refurbishment, The Pound offers a fully equipped auditorium seating 110 people, a fully-equipped studio seating up to 50 people plus rehearsal and meeting rooms.

A fully licensed venue, The Pound can arrange refreshments from coffee and tea to light lunches, buffet lunches and more.
